Claudia Y Juan Jose Mora Juárez: Beautiful house, great located. We want to go back. Ari and Noe were very kind and treat us great! Great place to relax and enjoy. Stayed March 2018
Jessica Eves - Villa de los Mangos is the perfect place to stay in La Saldita whether you are coming for a surf trip or for just some rest and relaxation. Tim has created a beautiful space both inside the house and the surrounding landscape. While it may not be right on the beach, it is only a block away. You have a view of the ocean from the pool and you can watch the gorgeous sunsets from the rooftop patio. It is hands down one of the nicest homes in La Saladita. Stayed April 2018

Just steps from the beach in Saladita, this beautiful new home was perfect for my family of 6. Open layout with views of the ocean along with a great patio area and outdoor swimming pool. Staff, Noe and Ari, were fantastic and super friendly. We opted to eat our dinners at home and Ari prepared a different authentic Mexican meal for five nights.
We enjoyed hearing the sound of the waves all day and night long.
Tim, the owner, was super helpful with communication prior to our trip. He answered all of our questions and prior to arrival.
Definitely recommend this new house.
We did not rent a car but next time I would rent one to be able to venture to Los Llanos or Troncones.

A brand new, immaculate home that is a very short walk down the beach to paddle out at Playa Saladita. It was my first time surfing Saladita. We had overhead waves and offshore winds every morning. The wave is fun and ridiculously long. It just goes forever. I have never been on a wave even a fourth as long as Saladita. We paddled out every afternoon as well. I never saw it blown out this week. The only limit was arm fatigue. Do some padding before you go. Long waves mean a long paddle out. There is a chennel, so you get to the lineup with your hair dry.
The property is beautiful, surrounded by mature mango trees and palms. We loved the pool. Tim, the owner really made our trip so special. He arranged for a great cook to prepare our meals. We had tons of fresh fruit, traditional Mexican cooking seved on the patio to take in the beautiful tropical sunsets over the ocean. Our first night we ate at Lourdes Restaurant and it really couldn’t come close to the quality that we had made for us at the house.
The property is very quiet and secure.
Inside the home is beautiful as well. Beautiful artwork and woodwork everywhere. The internet was faster than our home. Had to turn down the air conditioner in the bedroom because it worked so well.
We have rented many beach houses for surf trips in Mexico, Nicaraugua and Costa Rica and never had a home so dialed in.
Don’t miss Pazole on Thursday night in Buena Vista. Also a boat or road trip up to surf the Ranch were highlights for us.
Thank you Tim. I am so jealous of your lifestyle in paradise

This is a lovely place to stay. The owner, Tim, is very responsive to guests and very accommodating. His support staff, Ari and Noe, are also very helpful. Ari is an amazing cook--do not hesitate to hire her to cook your dinners! She and Noe shop for all the ingredients and make the food right there in the home, very unobtrusively. Her meals are creative and delicious, as well as very affordable. The home is comfortablr and spacious and the pool is very refreshing, especially after a day at the beach and in the salty ocean. Enjoy!
Great experience - 5/5 stars We had a great week. Just have to echo what others have said super positive. Tim was onsite during our stay and super available but not intrusive and a great host all around. I got to surf w/ him a couple of mornings once I started going out at first light :) The property is super relaxing, chill, quiet, and well done all around. We did not use the loft (our fam of 4 used the two ac rooms w/ kids going to bed before adults) - but for the right group would be great. The property is not "on the ocean" it is one level back and is ~10 min walk to the main paddle out spot and you can't really see the break from the property fyi -- which for us was a perfectly fine trade-off to have a great and comfortable property where we could chill/read/swim/relax (and work parents were on "workation") when not at friends places at the point or out in the water. We had a couple of dinners cooked/prepped with Ari and Noe they are awesome. So yeah like others have said a great, newer property with amazing host. It is more expensive than some other (IMO not as nice) spots, and the location is quiet but not on the break. Awesome spot well done Tim and thank you we are stoked to come back! We just returned from a fantastic trip to Saladita staying at Villa de Los Mangos! The property is fantastic and so is the house! The house is very comfortable with fun colors, great art, a mural with a story of its own, comfy beds, nice baths, fully stocked kitchen and a Mango shaped swimming pool where I spent the majority of my time! Tim is a fantastic host and Ari and Noe made us some incredible dinners such as Chicken Mole and Fresh Garlic Shrimp. The location is also fantastic for beach walks, beach restaurants, and surfing! I have spent my entire life traveling in Mexico and this is by far the best location I have ever visited and easily the best house in Saladita! Plus it was mango season so we were all mangoholics! I can’t wait to go back so brace yourselves, Tim, Ari, and Noe I’m planning 2-3 trips a year! Marty stayed with 2 other adults and two teenage boys 4/26 to 5/3/19
Villa de los Mangoes
Just returned from a fantastic week at Villa de Los Mangos, and already want to go back.
Upon arrival we were greeted by Ari and Noe, who take care of the home and guests as needed.
For our group of one couple, one single adult, and two teenagers, the Villa had plenty of space and privacy. The home has high ceilings and is airy, comfortable and spacious. The kitchen was well appointed and modern, great to cook meals, although we hired Ari and Noe to cook a few dinners of authentic, delicious Mexican food for a nominal cost - highly recommend this!
We spent lots of time in and around the mango shaped pool, which is deep enough to enjoy properly, as well as the beach, which is only a few steps away via the public access nearby. In case one wants a nap, a hammock is outside under a large palapa, complete with a fan above. There’s also a private deck on the roof with ocean and mountain views. The grounds are filled with colorful flowers and mango trees - such a lush oasis it was hard to leave.
This elegant home is recently built and had everything we wanted. We will definitely return! Written by Nancy who stayed 4/26 to 5/3/19

Stayed at VILLA DE LOS MANGOSAugust 2019 5/5 stars - We stayed at Villa De Los Mango in August 2019 with our 5 kids (13, 10, 7, 7, and 18 months). Upon our arrival we metTim the owner/host and his staff Ari and Noe. Tim stays on the property in a separate dwelling, but it is a large parcel so there is plenty of privacy. Tim is mellow, hospitable, and gives you plenty of space. It's like having a cool neighbor to chat with in the driveway that gives you tips on local knowledge. He even child proofed his entire house prior to our arrival including building a wooden child gate to block the spiral staircase (talk about service!!!). The house is Tim's personal residence when he is not renting it so it is immaculate and really stylish. All of the comforts of modern living are available. The two bedrooms have air conditioning but it is not needed. The house has screens on all of the windows and doors with very good air circulation. There is a gap in the homes on the seaward side of the house so a nice sea breeze comes in daily. We had just spent the previous week in Michoacan with no A.C. where it was very hot and soooo many mosquitoes. It was a refreshing change of pace arriving at Villa De Los Mangos where it was cooler and way less bugs. There is a loft area with three beds with a summer camp vibe that the older kids enjoyed to sleep in. A local couple Ari and Noe provided us with in house services such as shopping, cooking, cleaning, and other miscellaneous needs. I can't say enough about the level of service they provided. We stayed at The Thompson while in Zihuatanejo and Noe and Ari rival their 5 star service. They would prepare home cooked meals with a Mexican flair that even my picky kids cleaned their plates. Noe would prepare fresh juices for each meal that were very refreshing. They were pretty mellow too and easy to interact with. In summary it was a perfect home for a young family to enjoy while staying in La Saladita. The paddle out spot was a 10 minute walk from the house and there are plenty of surfboards available for rent. Its close enough to walk but far enough away from the hustle and bustle at the surf spot. It was an excellent stop on our family surf vacation and we would definitely stay there again.Melissa, Moss Landing, CAJoined in 2018 ·
5/5*** AMAZING HOME AND PROPERTY ***This house is gorgeous! We've stayed at many homes in Saladita, this one is the cleanest and nicest there is. The house feels very big with huge vaulted great room, super cool spiral staircase. We had 10 of us and felt very comfortable. The pool is great and has a huge covered patio area. Owner Tim was very welcoming and helpful, gave us advice on a lot of things. Caretakers Noe and Ari made the best food! We loved that house is super close to the point (about 5 min walk on the beach). This is our new "go to" house to stay at Saladita!10/23/2019 at 3:43 AM

“Villa de los Mangos is the perfect location for a private getaway at the lovely Saladita surf break. Property: Steps from the beach, it is surrounded by lush greenery to provide privacy as you enjoy the open air patio, pool deck, and hammock. Quiet location with the ocean waves as the soundtrack to your stay. The large screened in spaces bring the breezes inside and offer views of the property, keeping things cool enough to not need the air conditioning. Fans throughout. Sunset ocean views from the rooftop patio. The beds were very comfortable, plumbing reliable, huge refrigerator and separate freezer. Felt very safe at all times. Quiet neighborhood. Hospitality: Tim was an excellent host, in close communication during planning, offering assistance and recommendations ahead of our trip, and highly responsive during our visit. He went out of his way to make sure our needs were met. Having him on property gave us reassurance that any concerns would be tended to (although they were few)! His recommendations were appreciated. Ari and Noe provided housekeeping on a schedule that we requested. They proactively provided assistance to make sure we all were comfortable. They personally provided some requests with their local access to items. Simply lovely couple to help make our stay enjoyable. Amenities: The WiFi supported 9 guests without a hitch. The pool was perfect to relax in or refresh with beverages in hand or under the stars. The local coffee provided was a treat! Plenty of plush beach towels and bath linens. Soap and paper products well stocked and fresh water always available and plentiful. Our group of 9 adults was at the edge of capacity, but it was a fantastic choice for us. We would absolutely recommend it and consider a return!”
