Villa de los Mangos is such a exquisite place to stay and enjoy Saladita Beach, the house is beautiful and has everything you need to spend a good time in family, Tim was a super host, made us feel like home, Felipa and her husband were so kind and always looking after us. A plus was la Sra Irma, she was our chef, and every meal was delicious. If you want to enjoy Saladita Beach and all of the places around, you want to come to Villa de los Mangos. Also, they gave us a whole box of mangos a the check out, we’re so grateful..

This house is truly magical! We had the best time surfing saladita and loved being able to come home to the pool and air conditioned rooms. The owner was the kindest and most helpful host, he went the extra mile to make sure we were having an amazing time and taken care of. The mangos on the property were a huge bonus, the sweetest I had ever had! We can’t wait to visit again. (Stayed 5/20 to 5/27/23)

My friends and I just spent the weekend at Villa Mangos celebrating our friend’s bachelorette. The place was AWESOME and Tim was very attentive to the property and us, with check-ins to make sure everything was perfect. He lives right behind the house so he was around often, and if anything needed fixing, he was there to help us! We surfed everyday and spent most days at Mareta for yummy cocktails and food! Definitely watch the sunset from the terrace, and enjoy some of the most delicious mangos of your life! We spent hours at the pool as well. Diego, Felipa and Irma were all amazing. We had two dinners from Irma and it was delicious! Thank you guys for having us, we can’t wait to visit again! (Stayed 6/1 to 6/6/23)

Everything about the house and staff was amazing. We were at this location for the surf (which did not disappoint), and the house provided us with everything that we needed. It was beautifully decorated, clean, and the landscaping was fabulously lush and tropical. The pool and patio was where we lived for the week and was an incredible space to relax and hangout. We had the chef Angel and wife Janette make three of our meals and they were all delicious! Highly recommend this property and we will come back soon!. (Stayed 6/13 to 6/20/23)

Beautiful home and a very comfortable place to stay and hang. The owner was so helpful arranging vehicles and connecting us with an amazing cook named Irma. Tim made the vacation for our group. Highest recommendations!!

Villa de los Mangoes was amazing and exceeded our expectations. The house and property are completely gorgeous, unique and artistic. The house had everything we needed and we felt so relaxed and comfortable. The location is awesome. Just a short walk to Saladita’s epic surf break, yet tucked away from the hustle and bustle. Resort style living in a quiet&comfortable home. Enjoying a massage on the rooftop terrace was a highlight for sure. Angel and Yaneth were an amazing pair. Each meal they prepared was delicious and made with local ingredients. The lobster was easily one of the best meals I’ve ever had. They went above and beyond. You won’t be disappointed. Tim is an awesome host. He was communicative, accommodating, helpful and friendly. He wants you to have a good time and makes you feel welcome. Everything ran smoothly. He has built an incredible team that will make you never want to leave. I certainly didn’t! We are so very grateful and truly happy with our stay. (Stayed 7/13 to 7/16/23)

The experience was absolutely amazing, not only because La Saladita is a wonderful place, but mostly because Tim really made an effort to make us feel like home, and he recommended a lot of places to go, as well as things to do. The couple that helped us clean the house as well as purchasing groceries was very nice, and did an amazing job. The house has a lot of personality, it was really a unique experience!

The staff at this property is outstanding and they make sure you have the best experience as possible. We had food prepared every night by Tim's staff which was outstanding. This was my 2nd stay at this property and I plan to come back again sooner then later

We had a great stay. The location had easy access to the beach and was a nice, quiet, clean, private quarter to relax in. Most of all, everyone from the property was extremely helpful and exceeded our expectations to make our stay the perfect holiday. The bonus was dinners cooked by Janet. Delicious. We will come again.

What an absolute gem of a stay at Villa de Los Mangos! This stunningly unique Mexican home, a true architectural masterpiece designed by the talented Bryant Eduardo Amezquita Torres, left us in awe at every turn. From the open high-beamed pine ceilings adorned with handcrafted palm beams to the specially designed spiral staircase leading to the sleeping loft and a breathtaking third-story terrace boasting sweeping views of the coastline and the ocean – every detail was sheer brilliance.
Tim, the property owner, was more than a host; he was a fountain of local knowledge, generously sharing insights that made our stay even more enriching. His warmth and hospitality made us leave not just with cherished memories but with a lifelong friend in Tim.
Having traveled to numerous places around the world, we can unequivocally say that Villa de Los Mangos holds a uniquely special place in our hearts. The amenities provided were top-notch – from high-speed internet and air conditioning to the meticulously maintained swimming pool and the delightful hammock nestled under the exquisitely designed palapa. Villa de Los Mangos!! Better in person than the photos, an architectural oasis. What a magical home in such a magnificent place. Meeting Tim upon arrival was so helpful & personal. Tim gave us excellent recommendations for what we were looking for and was very friendly. Home is comfortable & relaxing, and I loved floating in the pool. We loved the option offered for having Angel and Janet cook each meal, this added to the surf trip making it an exceptional experience. Conveniently located to the surf break with ease to grab a rental board on the way, there are multiple rental co’s on the sand. We did let the rentals places know that we would be by early to assure there was someone there in the am and to pick a good board. There are many board choices available on the beach, which is convenient - but the next I’m bringing my own board for sure! Cannot wait to go back to La Saladita! Thank you so much Tim, Felipa, Angel and Janet - you all made us feel right at home!

Tim was a great host, extremely responsive and very helpful. He was able to provide great referrals for meals, surf coaching and taxis. Pretty much anything you need, Tim is happy to help arrange for you. Definitely recommend arranging a meal to be prepared at the house, it was fantastic! The house was very clean and well appointed. The pool is not huge but very refreshing and the surrounding deck area is very relaxing. Not on the beach, but a very close walk away and very reasonably priced. Good value for money. I would definitely recommend it!

I stayed with friends at Villa De Los Mangos. The consensus was this was one of the best lodging experiences we've ever had. The plot of land around the house is large and it's been immaculately sculpted with a variety of plants and trees. The house interior is very open and spacious. Do not ignore the murals -- they are rich in detail and context. The pool is setup with an outdoor shower and we used it extensively. We ended up spending a good fraction of our time at the house lounging by the pool or playing games on the dining table. I HIGHLY recommend taking advantage of the in-house chef -- it was one of the best meals we had there and very affordable. Finally, our host was the most pro-active host I've interacted with. He checked in regularly, gave us many quality recommendations, and supported us diligently. Get to know him because he is fascinating.
