Our family had a wonderful vacation. Property was beautiful and comfortable. Very easy access to the beach. Tim the owner was a gracious host. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

I spent five days in Early June surfing La Saladita with my two teenage boys (14 & 16)- and we really had a fantastic time.!!! Tim’s house is a beautiful artistic gem, from the personality of the architecture to the decor, to the manicured garden and pool. The care and love that Tim has put into the decoration is immediately apparent and the beautiful artwork that adorns the walls and shelves is something that any lover of art will appreciate. The house is simply amazing…. My boys surfed, and after loved hanging out in the very warm pool, or chilling in the hammock. They slept upstairs and had access to the roof to checkout the view and the lizards. 😀 I slept in the master bedroom downstairs. All bedrooms were very clean and very comfortable. We just loved hanging out there. Filipa is incredible and seemed to constantly clean and pick up after us. She did the dishes multiple times a day- it seemed like every time I put dishes in the sink (with the intent to clean them)-five minutes later they were done. Her food is fantastic and an incredible opportunity (and deal )that you should experience (her food is better than the restaurants imho)- we had enchiladas, garlic shrimp, and chicken mole- all delicious - I wish we’d had her make more meals for us. Filipa and her husband Diego were wonderful. Tim is a fantastic host. Before I even booked he was responding To my questions and offering advice. He set up pick up/drop of from the airport (including grocery shopping)and a car rental. He had advice on surfboard rental, and places to eat. He gave us delicious mangos to eat (the best mangos yo will ever eat) upon our arrival. He made the whole experience easy, relaxing and stress free- thanks Tim. I gave the house and Tim and Filipa and my whole experience five stars - and would give more stars if I could. We will return. Thanks Tim.
Lopa S Mon, Jun 13 – Sat, Jun 18, 2022 VRBO 5/5 STARS Excellent Host and Home Our family had a wonderful stay at Villa de Los Mangos! The home itself is clean, spacious and beautifully decorated. Outside has a lovely outdoor pool and patio area to relax and have fun, and the property is landscaped and full of mango trees. The host, Tim, and his staff went out of their way to ensure we had a wonderful experience, always available to help with any detail. We felt at home from the moment we arrived until our flight departed. The location is also very convenient for those who surf, with the Saladita surf break just a short walk down the beach. Overall we highly recommend this property and host!

We had a wonderful but brief stay. There were four of us staying for a long weekend to surf, the host was incredibly kind and communicative and generous with his time and recommendations in the area. The house is a short walk to the beach and surf rentals but very quiet and private as well. Felipa, the house cocinera, prepared delicious meals for our group every day and was very flexible with timing and provided a great menu. Highly recommend!

Absolutely stunning! Tim and Erwing created something magic with this property. We've never had a vacation experience like this before. From the mangos falling from the trees straight to our taste buds to the swimming pool to jump in after a long surf session. From the delicious meals prepared by Felipa to the zapatas repaired by Diego. From hookup after hookup, board rentals, kayak trips, spelunking adventures. The art in the home and the comfort, A/C, fans, everything thought of. And the simple, straightforward kindness of Tim and Erwing. I can go on and on. Suffice to say, we will be back!

First to address the property - it is an absolutely STUNNING home - truly a work of art, with every single detail thought of with so much care and love. The home itself also has so much incredible local art - from incredible murals to many other smaller touches. The pool, the beautiful setting and best of all - only a 2 minute walk to the beach made the home exceptional :) Especially for surf it is so perfectly located! Even more importantly, it was an absolute pleasure getting to know Tim and the entire staff :) Tim is so caring and thoughtful with a wealth of knowledge about the area and its traditions. I so enjoyed my conversations with Tim that visiting him again will be just as big of a draw as the surf :) I very much hope to return to Villa de los Mangos in the not too distant future :)

I liked how there were so many mangos and they were delicious and the pool was so nice even though I bumped my nose on the rocks.I think thought that the beds where rely comfy and it is right next to a rely nice beach. Staying at Casa de la Mangos was a wonderful experience. We had never been to Saladita before, and the owner of the home Tim was a fantastic. I had so many questions of where to go, and what to see, and he happily answered all of them and even took us to a very secluded beach which was beautiful. Tims home was so comfortable and clean. The decorations and art on the walls brings you right to the heart of Mexican culture and story. The pool was a perfect temperature and very clean. My kids chased around the iguanas that hide in the trees. His home is a 1 minute walk to the beach, and a 5 minute walk to the surf break. This was was magical! We will be back. Throughout the entire process of the rental, from the initial booking until check-out, Tim and his fantastic team went above and beyond to ensure that my parents and I had everything we needed to feel completely supported, comfortable and stress-free. Every square inch of the property is immaculately maintained, and the interior of the home is replete with gorgeous art and a million thoughtful touches. The house was stocked with everything you might need to cook, but I would strongly recommend opting for the private chef. Every meal she prepared was phenomenal. We were even treated to professional surf massages on the patio - I’ve truly never felt so spoiled and cared for! Thank you Tim for being such an outstanding host and for sharing your exceptionally beautiful home with us and the world. We will see you again as soon as possible!

We had an amazing stay at Villa de Los Mangoes! The house and property are so beautiful. The pool is amazing and it was close and easy access to the beach and just a couple minute beach walk down to beach front restaurants. The owner Tim is so lovely and caring. The caretakers of the house are lovely and warm people. We had a couple meals cooked for us and it was affordable and absolutely delicious!! We can’t wait to come back!! Thank you Erwing, Tim, Felipa, Diego, and Irma!!

We have doing surf trips to Saladita for 7 years, staying in both Saladita and Tronconnes and this is by far the best place we have ever stayed. Quick walk to the point and restaurants while also being tucked away and very private. The host and staff went above and beyond making our trip comfortable and relaxing. They were even able to provide a crib for our 1 year old so we didn’t have to fly with her travel crib which was such a huge help. The property is beautifully landscaped and the home filled with amazing artwork. A total sanctuary! The local family who takes care of the housekeeping and landscaping were so sweet and welcoming and even helped with child care. Very comfortable beds, clean towels every day, pristine pool to cool off in. Best trip ever! Highly recommend Villa de Los Mangos, we can’t wait to go back!! They also lined up our car rental which was so affordable and made getting to and from the airport so stress free and easy. Big thanks to Tim, Erwin, Filipa and Diego🙏

A beautiful tropical-style villa in a tranquilic setting surrounded by mango and palm trees. Minutes walk away from the amazing surf break at Playa La Saladita. Plenty of surfboard rentals available from local businesses. Restaurants in the area are good although nothing compares to Irma’s home cooking!

Just spent a week at Tim’s place. The stay exceeded my expectations. I was there with my wife, 21 year old son, and 19 year old daughter. The house and property were an absolute oasis for us. Tim was communicative from the moment we booked, through our stay, and even after; always making sure everything was going well. Felipa and Diego took care of the house and property and were friendly and efficient. The house itself is beautiful and has everything you need. When not at the beach, we were hanging by the pool or up on the third floor with cocktails taking in incredible sunsets before we headed out for dinner. The best swimming beach is a short 2 minute walk from the property, and the best surf break is another 5 minute walk from there. We stayed a week and were sad to leave. If you are thinking of staying in the area, you can’t do better than this house, this beach and surf, and the great owner, manager, and on site staff. Don’t hesitate; book it!!

This was one of the best Airbnb homes I’ve ever stayed in. First off incredible property with perfect landscaping and just an unreal setting pool outdoor rooms chairs everywhere and super private. The house is a masterpiece of design. Comfy 2 large bedrooms and a loft for perhaps 2-3 more people maybe kids as it doesn’t have air but this time of year it really cools down after 730 pm. Til 830 am so without wouldn’t be a huge issue. The owner is the best. When here he lives in a small place at back of property but never saw him unless we had a question and then we chatted with him for over 30 minutes each time. Super cool. Tim is the man. He has done an incredible job with this property. Had irma and Erik make us dinner for 3 nights. Had someone clean the house every day. The place is simply flawless. Plus it’s 25 yards to a walkway to the sand. This place is epic for 3-4 people. We were 3 on boyz surf trip. So perfect for us.

What a magical vacation, truly one of our favorite places we have ever been. This was a vacation that was a long time coming. We had booked over a year ago and due to some unforeseen circumstances had to move dates around. I felt awful for all the back and forth but Tim was an absolute angel. Totally understanding, compassionate, and helpful to help accommodate us. The house is a dream. It is welcoming, colorful, and has the coolest vibe. The inside is open and inviting with a great space for cooking (or having their chef come in to cook for you- MUST DO). We spent most of our late afternoons in the backyard pool area which is perfect. A big table for our crew, chairs, hammocks. It is a SUPER short walk to the beach down a little path and the beach out front is beautiful. Close walk to the Point to surf and lots of places to eat. The whole crew are the kindest humans ever. They took care of us and made us feel like home. We are already trying to figure out when we can get back!

Beautiful house with nice private outside patio and pool area to enjoy with friends before and after surfs. Public beach access is right across the road from the house. Tim was a great host. Diego and Felipa who caretake and clean were wonderful and made it a 5 star experience. Would highly recommend. We stayed here with two couples and 3 adults who slept in the loft. Just the right amount of space for us. Thanks again Tim!

The house was impeccably clean, the art and aesthetic were beautifully curated, the staff and property owner were super attentive to our needs (we brought our 15 month old baby) made our stay really enjoyable. Our family of 8 - our children, spouses and 2 grandchildren spent 10 glorious days at Tim's Villa de los Mangos. It was peaceful, fun and much needed break from our busy lives. Tim arranged the suburban rental, transfers from and to the airport with Angel When we finally booked this home after 3 years of planning our family vacation, we knew it was the right choice and it exceeded our expectations. This house is a work of art, the mural "The dance of the Old Wise Men" a must read in the house manual, Tim's personal surf photos and the beautiful pottery. His house is an eclectic mixture of the antique and the modern. Our family loved cooking in the well equipped, state of the art kitchen! Irma and Eric cooked an amazing Mexican dinner, a must do! Felipa and Diego, the caretakers made it a 10 star vacation. They couldn't do enough for us and kept the house and grounds pristine. Chatting with Felipa was a hoot!! Tim is the most thoughtful, gracious and personable host! TOTAL PARADISE
